I was sent the link to a video that totally changed my perception of happiness and I would like to share this video with all of youl. Nick Vujicic puts me to shame whenever I think life's not going too good. When I think about his sense of humor and motivation it makes me smile. Thanks Howie for sharing this video with us and thanks Nick for for being such an inspiration.
Great site you guys. I met Roger a few weeks ago on the course while visiting Florida and he shared the site with me. I enjoy reading your articles especially the one about the blind golfer since I did not know that blind individuals played golf. I will be trying some of the tips and will share this site with my golfing buds out here in Seattle. Thanks
Lately I have been wearing head phones while playing golf to maintain my focus. If playing with someone I will listen to something instrumental so i can still hear the conversation and when playing by myself i may listen to something that has words. The key to focusing is to play the same CD over and over so it gets you and keeps you in the zone.
96 Degrees In The Shade! Real Hot In The Shaaaade.
At 6:30 am, while getting the course ready for the 4th Annual William Tanner Golf Tournament, some of us had the pleasure of observing a red tail fox making its way across the dew covered fairway on hole number three in pursuit of the morning's glory. The heat associated with the rising eight o'clock sun served as a sound reminder that summer was upon us and it was going to be a hot one. This is Golfbytez' second year covering this event which is hosted by the men and women from the FSU Police Department at the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course and the proceeds from the funds raised goes towards a very worthy cause. Golfers have made this pilgrimage for years and this June 3rd was no exception from the overwhelming response from members of the golfing community traveling from far and wide. This event was named after the department's first police chief William Tanner who himself was a golfer until he had to retire his clubs because of back trouble.

Some days it seems that no matter what you do, you end up at the beach. While playing golf with a my Canadian golfing extraordineer friend Ali on one of those beach going days I laughed myself to tears after my seventh failed attempt in getting out of the bunker he shared a very simple tip that has permanently negated all fear of the infamous Sand Traps that lay silently guarding the elusive greens.
Just wondering what you guys think about Tiger returning for the Masters? How do you think he will perform after being gone for a while? Will his fans be welcoming on his return? Will the pressure from un-answered questions have an impact on his performance. Does he have anything to prove? Will he be victorious? [Add comments in the Comment Section under this article.]
Phil Blackwell was plunged into darkness forever when he lost his sight while serving in the Navy in 1968.
Phil was only 22 years old and married to his high school sweetheart, Sybil, almost two years. They were ecstatic that their first baby was on the way. Life was wonderful when suddenly his world shattered leaving him gripped in devastation and despair.
It was simpler times when Phil grew up in the beautiful countryside of upstate South Carolina. High school was highlighted with playing guitar, runs to the sandy shore, shag dancing and going steady with pretty Sybil.
Phil’s acute intuitive sense made some things easy for him, like playing from beginning to advanced guitar in a matter of months.
