Studying to become a chiropractor he is currently taking 21 credit hours, helping the rugby team with speed work, and is usually training 15 hours each week to perfect the art of long driving. Quite the stellar athlete, he has played volleyball, baseball, football, won national track championships, and is also a certified personal trainer. Pole In One

While playing last week with my buddy Chuch on the 15 hole which is a par three, after hitting my 3 hybrid 160 yards the ball flew through the air and without hitting the ground first, struck the flagpole about three feet above the ground. For me, that was like hitting a hole-in-one. \o/

Music Makes You focus
Written by George George
Friday, 18 June 2010 14:20
Lately I have been wearing head phones while playing golf to maintain my focus. If playing with someone I will listen to something instrumental so i can still hear the conversation and when playing by myself i may listen to something that has words. The key to focusing is to play the same CD over and over so it gets you and keeps you in the zone.

FSU PD William Tanner Tournament

96 Degrees In The Shade! Real Hot In The Shaaaade.

At 6:30 am, while getting the course ready for the 4th Annual William Tanner Golf Tournament, some of us had the pleasure of observing a red tail fox making its way across the dew covered fairway on hole number three in pursuit of the morning's glory. The heat associated with the rising eight o'clock sun served as a sound reminder that summer was upon us and it was going to be a hot one. This is Golfbytez' second year covering this event which is hosted by the men and women from the FSU Police Department at the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course and the proceeds from the funds raised goes towards a very worthy cause. Golfers have made this pilgrimage for years and this June 3rd was no exception from the overwhelming response from members of the golfing community traveling from far and wide. This event was named after the department's first police chief William Tanner who himself was a golfer until he had to retire his clubs because of back trouble.
