HELP! Having Trouble With My Backswing

HELP! I seem to be having trouble with my backswing. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Please take a look at my swing video and share some TIPS on a corrective plan that might HELP.

HELP's ON THE WAY! After John one the golfers I sometimes play with on Thursday afternoons saw my video and my cry for HELP!, he sent me a link to a YouTube video by "Roger Fredericks" who "explains" that, "Early Weight Transfer" is "the second most important Fundamental of the Golf Swing," In my video I seem to be having difficulty transferring my weight to my back leg and am not rotating around my spine properly but instead keeping my shoulders over my front foot, resulting in that "C" created by my shoulders, hip and leg. Mr. Fredericks instructional video clearly explains how to properly achieve this weight transfer solution.

How is turning your shoulder behind the ball and staying upright working for you Rodger. When I saw you practicing on the second hole Monday it looked like you had hit a load of bomb drives. Keep up the hard work you addict.

Roger,
Try to bring your club to the top of your swing on a flatter plain, and not so upright with your hands so close to being in line with your head. Also instead of pushing your right hip in, let is almost follow the same line as your shoulders. Rotate around your hips rather than just pushing them backwards. Your Shoulder turn is very good but since you are so upright at the top of your swing u almost jam yourself on your downswing. Especially with the driver swing, you want the swing plain to be longer and on more of a horizontal line then a vertical, this will allow you use your good shoulder turn to your advantage and not just throw the club at the ball. This will dramatically help with constancy and distance because you will be able to use your entire body to explode on the ball at impact

Great advice you guys. Yes, Adrian breaking out of that "c" is hard to delete from my muscle memory but I am trying. Yes, I was making some great divets when you saw me last. Also Robert, great advice. I will try your suggestions when next I go out. Thanks. Adrian you and Adam need to play golf with Robert some time... he hits the ball well.

I am a lefty. I seem to have an issue with trying to keep my centerline over the ball so much I tend to load my right leg to the point that my body doesn't rotate properly (like a merry go round and my arms like a ferris wheel as previously tought) but instead my shoulder, hip and feet create this "C" as seen in the video. I have been re-working this back swing issue with my buddy Adrian who has shown me how to rotate my right sholder under my chin and over my left instep. This seemed to help tremendiously with my weight transfer and getting rid of that "C" . Thanks Adrian
