Great site you guys. I met Roger a few weeks ago on the course while visiting Florida and he shared the site with me. I enjoy reading your articles especially the one about the blind golfer since I did not know that blind individuals played golf. I will be trying some of the tips and will share this site with my golfing buds out here in Seattle. Thanks |

Lately I have been wearing head phones while playing golf to maintain my focus. If playing with someone I will listen to something instrumental so i can still hear the conversation and when playing by myself i may listen to something that has words. The key to focusing is to play the same CD over and over so it gets you and keeps you in the zone. |

Golf Trivia! What is the difference between " Best Ball" and "Captain's Choice". I played golf last week with a very good golfer who shared this useful piece of information with me. Does anyone know? Please post answers in [Add comment] section under this article. Thanks Rob |

I played nine great holes of golf with my good friend Todd today. After making a serious slice with my driver from the tee on the seventh hole it was brought to my attention that my alignment was badly off. After hitting a second drive which yielded the same result even though my feet were properly aligned with the target line,

Ryan, one of the gentlemen I work with at the course shared a few tips with me today regarding the golf ball's lie above or below your feet since I was having trouble with the ball's straight flight. I was always told to choke up on the club when the ball's lie was above my feet, he added that moving the ball back in the stance beyond center (in some cases closer to the back foot's heel) would help with it going straight. He also shared that when the ball's lie was below the feet to open the width of the stance. Thanks Ryan I'll try it and get back to you. Following are two videos that also shed some light with this ball lie situation.
