I have been told in golf balance is the fundamental principle one needs to most consistently observe. Keeping ones eyes on the ball and executing the proper stance that will allow one to see the ball during the stroke and at every second while striking the ball is secondary. Making the time to develop ones own personal method and technique is third. Finding and implementing a stretch and warm-up (or down) routine before and after practicing or playing a round of golf could be an added bonus. Bringing snacks and water is a must since a round of golf could take a number of hours to complete.
Hey Contest Entry here is a YouTube video by "Shawn Clement, Director of the Richmond Hill Golf Learning Centre in Toronto" that explains the key to maintaining an "uninterupted flow" in his swing as a result of his "head staying very steady and his eyes staying in one spot." Take a look.
Also I found a stretch routine entitled "easy golf stretch for quick results" by Joey Atlas that I use from time to time that increases my flexibility and reduces my stiffness whenever I play golf. As always check with your doctor to make sure it's OK for you to try his stretch techniques before trying these exercises.
