I had been having trouble keeping my head still during my swing and especially keeping my eyes on the ball through contact. So lately i have been chanting a little saying that says "Keep Your Eyes On The Prize". Here the prize is the DIVET. In keeping my eyes on the ball through impact I am able to see the divit left after impact and this is helping me to strike the ball better and hitting it straighter. At times I am not sure where the ball lands but invariably when I go in the direction of where I heard or wanted it to land it is somewhere in that vicinity. I was sharing my "keep your eyes on the prize" tip with a young man I played nine holes with today. He shared some really good tips with me and the one that resonated the most, because I have been trying to remember to keep my head still and my eyes on the ball on impact was, when on the range locate the logo on the ball facing the side of impact. Practice looking on that logo during your swing and on impact because it gives you something to focus on. Thanks Noah.
