With golf it seems as you strengthen one aspect of your game something else falls apart. My latest frustration is putting. Lately I tend to be overcompensating my putting stroke by moving my body and head too much especially on the long ones. Putting for me was never an issue but since I have been concentrating on improving my drive and practicing with my #4 hybrid I can't even sink the easy ones.
Today I worked on my putting and did a great job being quite accurate even on 10 and 12 foot putts. I adjusted my posture slightly which located my eyes almost in a straight line over the ball. This allowed me to keep my head very still on contact because I could see the cup through the corner of my right eye, (being a lefty), in my peripheral cone of vision. My eyes did the work not my head. Being over the ball made my arms swing freely infront of my body and also created a clearer connection between the cup and the ball.
Most
golfers, seasoned veterans or beginners, don’t know how to properly
repair ball marks. I
have attached a YouTube link that shows how to repair a ball mark. Tim M.
