I read somewhere that when practicing putting you should use only one ball since it is closer to the real game.

But I have also heard that practicing with multiple balls helps with learning about the tendencies of how a green lyes and will break. What do you think? Club Byter

I asked my husband and he thinks it depends on what you are trying to accomplish with your practice session since both tips seem very valid to him. Golfwidow.
