Kenny I read your tip and while playing golf with a friend yesterday it all made sense. It's as if I had never held a golf club before. Rather pitiful. My driving was off. Using my hybrid I was off. And my short irons were especially off. Once again I had misplaced my swing between the day before and yesterday. I was either coming back too flat or too straight up. Steve gave me a little tip: that I should pretend that an imaginary plane made of glass was behind me. My back swing should not start with my wrist as I was doing but with my shoulders, keeping the "V" in the middle of my chest in the middle of the triangle formed by my arms as I start my rotation. In order not to break the plane of glass behind me with my club I had to lift the club head up allowing my wrist to cock and my elbow to leave my side. My down swing began by my elbow returning into the socket by my side allowing me to compress the ball better and the rest was history. Steve had to leave to go to a meeting and did not get to see the improvement his tips had made on my swing. For the next four holes I was on fire. Thanks, Steve, for helping me today!

Hey man this tip rocks. I have never had so much fun loosing golf balls before.
I am normally very robotic and rigid and my arms very seldom leave my side after reading the towel rule tip. But you mentioned above, something about your elbow leaving your side on your back swing and returning into the socket on your down swing. Well I took your suggestion and it helped me hit my six and seven irons with so much more confidence. I seemed to have more power and my hands turned over much more naturally which I find great difficulty doing.
I suppose as they say "you just have to trust it".
