This afternoon Bob and I went to see FAMU Men's Golf Team play in the Florida State Spring Break Invitational at the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course here in Tallahassee. While there I had the pleasure of meeting a good friend of Bobs by the name of Mr. Sam Madison. Sam is an all pro cornerback for the Super Bowl Champs NY Giants and previously played for the Miami Dolphins. He was hosting his own golf tournament on the same course as the invitational to raise funds for the FAMU Developmental Research School, where he went to high school when he was a young man, for their football program. It was so wonderful to see members of the golfing community and their families turn out to support and give generously to a program they truly believe in. I salute you, Sam Madison, and all those individuals who came together to make this event a success. Keep up the good work and I hope your ankle heals properly for the next football season. Sam I think that what you're doing by giving back to your community says a lot about your generousity. In a world that can be so negative it is refreshing to read something so positive. Keep up the good work.
