The FSU Alumni Association golf tournament is a highly anticipated event for loyal FSU alumni and fans and is an event that never disappoints. The FSU Alumni Cup is the only tournament that offers you the chance to play with FSU PGM students (Professional Golf Management Major at Florida State). The students will be at each hole to play with you and give you pointers – this is your chance to play with top-notch students and hear about the everyday life at Florida State. The tournament is also known for its special contests, such as the hole-in-one, Beat the Pro, Closest to the Pin, etc. Breakfast, lunch, drink tickets, and grilled bratwursts on the course are included in the entry fee and each player goes home with a professional team photo.
Here are highlights from last years tournament:
The 2009 tournament will be held October 9, 2009 at the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course and for the first time will be called the FSU Alumni Cup. This year’s winning team will receive the prize of a commemorative cup and be the inaugural name on the FSU Alumni Cup that will remain at the Alumni Association. Please make plans to attend this very special event.
