Wakulla High School Golf Team Heads To State Championships.

We had the pleasure of meeting some of the members of the Wakulla High School Golf Team at the Big Bend Hospice Wakulla Golf Tournament on Friday, October 30, 2009. They were the team to beat at the Big Bend Hospice tournament where they placed first in the 1st flight. Playing in this event was Coach Mike Smith, his son Conner, William Davis, and Jeremy Cochran. Other team-mates who were absent here was Stone Cowie and Spencer, another of Coach Smith's sons.

While covering this tournament both Conner and Jeremy made birdies on the 11th hole demonstrating their awesome golfing abilities and even more the reason why they took 1st place!

They will be playing in the State Finals on Monday November 2nd. 

Below are stats on how the members played at the Regional tournament. 

They have won their District 4 years straight (2006-09) and this year Spencer is the Region 1 Champion with a score of 72. Stone holds 4th place in the Region.
